This webinar features our guest speaker, Dr. Peter Kannu, Associate Professor and Chair of Medical Genetics at the University of Alberta. Dr. Kannu provides an overview of gene therapy, emerging research in this field, including mRNA and its future use, and how gene therapies can provide more treatment options, and perhaps challenges, for patients and the health care system.
